Larijani: Opening Tanzanian embassy in Iran will expand ties

Tehran, Aug 4, ICANA– Majlis (Parliament) speaker Ali Larijani said opening Tanzania embassy in Iran will expand mutual cooperation.

Larijani made the remarks Friday in a meeting with visiting speaker of Tanzania National Assembly Job Ndugai.

Over and above, political and parliamentary ties, trade transactions are likely to increase between the two countries, Larijani added.

He also expressed Iran's willingness to deliver technical and engineering aids to Tanzania.

Ndugai, for his part, said fostering collaboration between friendship groups and exchanging experiences between parliaments will develop the level of relations.

Tanzanian speaker invited Larijani to have a trip to Tanzania and to visit the country's parliament.

Ndugai is in Tehran to attend President Hassan Rouhani's inauguration ceremony which is scheduled to be held on August 5, in Tehran.
