MP: Tehran may pull out of JCPOA if Washington withdraws

Tehran, Oct 7, ICANA – An Iranian lawmaker said the Islamic Republic of Iran may walk away from the nuclear deal with the P5+1 group of countries if the US withdraws from the agreement.

Mohammad-Javad Jamali Noubandegani, a member of Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission made the remarks in an interview with ICANA.

The MP said the remarks following the threats by US to withdraw the nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Meanwhile Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif has recently announced that "If Washington decides to pull out of the deal, Iran has the option of withdrawal and other options."
