Tehran, Oct 7, ICANA – An Iranian lawmaker said the Islamic Republic enjoys fairly advanced rules regarding women's rights.

Talking to ICANA, Tayebeh Siavoshi Shah Enayati a Member of Iran'a Parliament Women Fractions said Saudi Arabia is trying to transmit positive signals to the world regarding the
its recent reforms in women rights.  
She called the Riyadh's hue and cries regarding women rights as "politically motivated" aimed at attracting the international community's attention.
Touching upon the removal of driving ban on women as part of its recent reforms in Saudi Arabia, the Iranian lawmaker also expressed his satisfaction over the move, describing the move as pleasing.

On Sep 26, Riyadh removed the driving ban on women as part of its recent reforms to undo the damage the ultraconservative kingdom has suffered for decades of human rights violations both inside and outside of Saudi Arabia.
