FM Says No Problem between Tehran, Riyadh

Salehi made the remark while speaking to reporters at the end of the two-day International Conference on Global Fight against Terrorism which kicked off in the capital Saturday.

Such differences of opinions have nothing to do with bilateral relations between the two Muslim countries, he said, adding, ”I have asked Saudi officials to negotiate with Iranian authorities in order to remove the existing misunderstandings.”

Asked about recent developments in Syria, Salehi said Tehran believes that the Syrian authorities are capable of solving their own problems.

Referring to Iran-Pakistan-Afghanistan trilateral negotiations, he said the three leaders called for continued consultations on various issues.

Leaders of regional countries are determined to settle the existing problems through expansion of political, economic and cultural cooperation, the Iranian FM noted.

He further underscored the need to consolidate unity and solidarity among world nations in order to eradicate terrorism.
