Kowsari deplores United States' bullying attitude

"Americans have not yet realized that the era of accusations and accusing others without any proof and evidence has ended and they should soon present a rational account to the world public opinion for the accusations they have raised," member of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Esmae'il Kowsari told Fars News Agency on Tuesday.

"The statements of the US intelligence officials are rather like (science) fiction and Hollywood movies," he said, and underlined that those who are the most infamous sponsors of terrorism in the world cannot accuse other countries, like Iran, of terrorist actions.

He said the United States' record in the last century displays that Washington has always spearheaded major terrorist acts in the world and blamed independent and freedom-seeking countries for those actions.

His remarks came after the FBI and DEA agents alleged that they had disrupted a plot to commit a "significant terrorist act in the United States" tied to Iran.
