West aims to harm Iran through nuclear allegations

The Western powers’ pressure on Iran to suspend its nuclear activities is merely a pretext to damage the Islamic establishment, said Ebrahimi on Sunday.

He added that the West would pursue the policy of pressure on Tehran by means of other ploys such as human rights and terrorism even if Iran suspends or gives up its nuclear activities.

The senior lawmaker also dismissed as “irrational” the tougher sanctions against the country over its peaceful nuclear program.

Ebrahimi stated that Iran would amplify its power day by day and said that a union of Islamic republics would be formed in this century, which would enable the Muslim nations across the globe to stand up to hegemonic powers.

The legislator further said that the more Islamic Awakening spreads in the region and throughout the world, the more plots will be hatched against Iran.

However, the plots will always turn out to benefit Iran and backfire on the West, he concluded.
