Upon his arrival Wednesday evening in Zanjan, the Parliament Speaker added addressing a group of reporters at Znjan Airport, “The prices need to be regulated. Presently a proposed package aimed at stopping the further increase of prices, particularly the price of major consumer goods, is in the agenda of the Islamic Parliament’s work.”

He referred to the program aimed at supporting the agricultural and industrial sectors, reiterating, “If the government would properly implement the articles of the ratified law, the Parliament, too, would cooperate in supporting making investments and implementation of appropriate laws aimed at decreasing the prices.”

Referring to the increase in cash subsidies to the people, Larijani reiterated, “Appropriate planning is needed to stop the continuation of increasing prices.”

The Islamic Parliament Speaker said that the objective of his visit of Zanjan is to inaugurate the Sheikh Sohrevardi Foundation, adding, “Zanjan as a region from where many great Gnostics, philosophers, and scientists have emerged did need such center for understanding and elaboration on the Gnostic thoughts and ideas of Shiekh Shahaboddin Sohrevardi.”
