Tehran, Nov 6 (ICANA) – Co-Chairman of Iran-France Parliamentary Friendship Group, Hassan Kamran, said on Monday that continued talks is the only way to iron out nuclear dispute.

He made the remarks in a meeting with French Ambassador to Tehran Bruno Foucher.

Kamran said that through talks and engagement, Tehran and Paris can remove disputes.

He stressed Iran's absolute right for peaceful use of nuclear energy and said the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been ready for dialogue and engagement on issues relating to peaceful nuclear program.

He recalled positive historical record of bilateral relations and said regarding positive image of Iranian people from the French nation, the Iranian parliamentary friendship group is ready to use historical and cultural potential to expand political, economic and cultural ties.

He said exchange of parliamentary delegations and more such contacts would be helpful for mutual understanding.

He called for setting up scientific courses in Iranian and French universities, saying through scientific and academic links the Iranian and French universities can bolster bilateral ties.

The French diplomat for his part said regional and international issues should not affect talks and consultations between Iranian and French officials.

He called for more talks to remove possible barriers and problems on Tehran-Paris ties.
