Isolating Assad, Arab League's main policy

In an interview with ICANA on Sunday, Aqamohammadi said, "During its history, Arab League has always tried to adopt passive stances regarding the developments in the Arab world."

He said that the Arab League's failure to help the Palestinians against the atrocities and crimes of Israel is clear proof of the fact that the body is not serving the interests of Arabs and Muslims.

"Arab League's recognition of the Syrian opposition as the legitimate representative of the Syrian people is in line with its policies to isolate Assad in the Arab world," he added.
