Islamic Consultative Assembly News Agency - Přemysl Sobotka vice-president of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic had meeting with his Iranian counterpart in the main building of the Iranian Parliament.

Masood Pezeshkian the Iranian side referred to the growing trend of relations between the parliaments of two countries and said: Regular and continuous dialogue between representatives of the two countries has a great impact in facilitate and accelerate of friendly cooperation between Islamic Republic of Iran and Czech Republic.

He continued: Islamic Consultative Assembly welcomes bilateral experiences transfer and expansion of friendly parliamentary relations in different levels.

"Iran and Czech have high commercial and economical capacities so the two countries could be beneficial for each other due to the current agreements and expanding relations in the future; Create a win-win trade relationship between the two countries will make the relations, stable and lasting", declared Pezeshkian.

As of 2014, Czech firms mainly exported machinery products, electrical goods, and other products to Iran while the bulk of imports from Iran consisted of fruit and vegetables. The Czech Republic and Iran cooperate in nuclear technology and in fields of energy, mining and commerce.
