Parliament does not allow the government to enter into erosive negotiations

Tehran (ICANA) – The spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament said that according to the law of strategic action, the Parliament does not allow the government to submit to erosive negotiations.

Emphasizing the point that the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran at negotiations is quite clear, Mahmoud Abbaszadeh Meshkini added: “Although Iran fulfilled all its obligations, the Westerners and the United States did not fulfil their obligations, which were the lifting of sanctions.”

He went on to say that in this round of negotiations, the West must take action to lift the sanctions.

“If the other side wants to erode the negotiations, the Iranian negotiating team will act according to Strategic Action Plan to Lift Sanctions and Protect Iranian Nation's Interest Act.”

The Iranian MP stressed that the Iranian Parliament would not allow the government to enter the erosive negotiations.
